This material research investigates wood through unconventional processes of transformation. By misusing familiar materials and pushing them beyond their intended functions, the project explores how unexpected physical properties and forms can emerge from simple experiments. Wood sawdust collected from the school's wood workshop was mixed with bio-based glue to create a malleable paste. Through these processes, everyday materials become unfamiliar. The work focuses on experimentation, material behaviour and the possibilities that emerge when established methods of use are deliberately disrupted.
